A very nice set of water colours from 1926.
These paintings remain in excellent condition within their old original frames and matting.
Each frame stands 51cms tall and 34cms wide.
The paintings are free from loss, damage, water stains or age distress. One however one has flaking remnants of the backing paper now throughout the front of the mattings as it is slightly dislodged from its framing.
The framing is a simple black frame that still retains its original out hand cut nails to the rear, keeping the pictures for the most part, secure.
The colours remain very vibrant.
Each water colour is signed and dated K M Blake 1926.
A rare opportunity to own a pair of original Middle Eastern water colours from the early 20th century.
