A massive Indian Khanda.

This very large and impressive sword measures 102cms long and has a blade length of 77cms.
The early basket hilt supports a very heavy and broad blade of 19th century manufacture.
The early hilt retains parts of its original silver koftgari.
A blade is excellent quality, heavy and sharp. It has multiple fullers, decorative aspects shaped in to the blade and a broad single cutting edge with a partial back edge.
