Very rare quality Tibetan Kangling

Rare Kangling Tibetan trumpet or horn made out of a human thighbone.
The kangling is a unique musical instrument that is used in Tantric Buddhist Rituals to drive away evil spirits and would customarily be part of a Buddhist ritual kit.
This fine Artefact measures approx 30cms long and displays a wonderful old world patina.
The knuckle end is covered in old leather where the joint would have been. behind this leather is a fitting of copper and brass that is then followed by brass wire binding that ends in the shaped brass mouth piece that has a suspension loop with two brass rings.
A very rare and complete piece of genuine Tibetan antiquity.
