A good complete Ethiopian shield.

This shield measures 42cms across and approx 16cms tall.
The shield is shaped metal with faded velvet covering to the outside, secured with white metal panels.
The entire outer surface is decorated in the traditional manner, being the mentioned white metal panels that are secured with small copper stove bolts.
The inner surface and handle are all wrapped in a red cloth including the steel handle.

A good Ethiopian shield from the early 20th century.
