A very fine Kurdish khanjar or Jambiya, 2nd half of the 20th century.

This Khanjar measures 39cms long in its sheath. Out it is 36cms with a 24cms long blade.
Its hilt is finely polished solid black horn type with two simple brass dome embellishments to each end.
The blade is very well forged and finished. It has a pronounced medial ridge to both sides running through to its tip, very sharp edges and clear yet subtle patterning to the blades surfaces.

A very fine and very well price Kurdish dagger.
