A rare pair of Laos Pole arm heads, Ngao with Elephant goads.

This pair measure 72cms long and carry a thin but very strong 46cms long blade.
These blades sit atop small disc guards and thick forged Elephant goads.
The base of the socket is 4cms across and narrows to 3.5cms below the goads.
The long repousse gold coloured sockets are a Samrit alloy, each displaying floral motifs throughout.

A good rare pair of late 18th century pole arm heads, once used when riding and fighting from an Elephant.
