A good French Military sabre.

This sword measures 94cms long in its scabbard. Out it is 91cms long with a blade length of 76cms.
The regulation hilt appears to have a horn grip which is wire bound and fine thick bronze pommel and guard.
The blade have a broad central fuller and a narrow fuller between this and the spine. The base of the spine was once carrying the manufacture details of the factory in which it was made but is now rubbed with only minor traces of the script remaining.
The scabbard is steel with a double suspension rings and remains in good condition throughout with only minor blemishes.

A good well prices example of the type.
