A good bone handled Tiger Tooth Jambiya, India.

This Jambiya or Khanjar measures 30.5cms long in its sheath. Out it is 28.5cms long with a blade length of 19cms.
Its handle measures 5cms across the pommel and 4.5cms wide where the bolster meets the blade. It is a full tang construction with the bone grip slabs secured with metal pins in three places.
The blade's forte is engraved to both sides, it is fullered, has a thickened armour piercing point and sharp bevelled cutting edges.
The sheath is leather over timber with a correct but poorly fitting copper end that is heavily aged.

A good rare dagger from Northern India.
