A fine and rare sword in exceptional condition.

This rare Thai Laos sword measures 86.5cms long in its scabbard, 80cms out and has a blade length of 50.5cms long.
The long hilt is dressed in thick silver repousse and is free from any major loss or damage. The surfaces of the hilt are covered in numerous writhing Naga along with native flame and Kirthimukha motifs.
The swords scabbard is a timber core which is covered in red velvet and its suspension baldric.
The blade is a strong and well forged example. Its spine is flat throughout where most from the region are peaked. The cutting edge displays a clearly hardened edge with dark cloudy surfaces running through to the tip.
