A fine rare throwing knife from Central Northern Africa, Zande.

This throwing knife measures 41cms tall, 21cms at the widest point and 17cms wide above the handle.
The blade is well shaped throughout. To the outer face, this is forged with a central hollow section running through the middle body and all blade protrusions. The hollowed forged area is highlighted with incised relief and decorative motifs within.
Its grip retains its leather covering and the entire knife is in fine condition throughout.
