A fine and large Bali keris with a Gerantiman Hulu and Kojongon style sheath.

The overall length of this Keris in its sheath is 70.5cms long. Out it is 58.5cms long and has a blade length of 44cms, excluding the pesi.
The hilt is Gerantiman style but of repousse metal, rather than woven metals. It is an auspicious alloy, now darkened with age.
The broad and heavy blade shows nice multi fullered surfaces, crisp features and clear and well defined, but simple pamor.
The sheath or sarong is a rarer Kojongon type. The timbers selected are very fine and although it may not be clear from the images, the upper section a very nice symmetry in tiger like stripes with double eyes to one face and a single eye and stripes to the reverse.
