A good rare Perak keris with the desirable lancang sampir.

This fine old keris measures 43.5cms long in its sheath, 41.5cms out, and has a blade length of 33.5cms.

The Ketengga wood hulu displays beautiful contrasting grains throughout. It sits within a silver pendokok that whilst regionally correct, it does not appear to be correct for this keris.

The sheath shows some minor damage and the butnut is loose. The timbers chosen for this keris are very dark and all display very fine grains.

The straight blade is a robust fighting type with clear pamor, a blade that has been kept in exceptional original condition.

A fine example of the type, seldom seen for sale.
