A good black Wootz Ottoman Shamshir blade looking for a new home and dress.

This bare blade measures 93cms long including the hilt section. The blade length is 79.5cms long, measuring in a straight line from the tip to the middle of the forte.
The blade is in need of a polish, but does display clearly, a fine dark contrasting Wootz surface throughout.
To the percussion curve of the blade, there is a dark stain and a very minute amount of localised pitting.
To the right face of the blade, approx. 9cms from the base of the blade, these is an indistinct deep armourer's stamp, something that is rarely seen on these sword types.

A very nice example that would fit very well in to modern traditional dress.
