A good Somali shield with fine motifs.

This shield type is becoming much harder to find in any condition. It measures 34.5cms across its tooled hide face.

The rear face of this example displays black and red inked motifs around the raised central handle, with its handle retaining worn but near complete fabrics wrapping.

An example that is complete and remains in good condition for its age.
