A fine and rare tribal war club from the Rennell Island region.

This seldom seen type of club measures 99cms long. From the base to the underside of the lower protrusions is 84 cms.
Each triangular protrusion is approx 7cms long and very sturdy. The club is light but strong and is capable of devastating injuries if used in combat.
An old paper collectors tag is seen to one side indicating the club to be from Rennell Island, Solomon Group, Coral sea, South Pacific Ocean followed by a gifting presentation.

A very fine and rarely seen Oceanic club.
