A good example of a Phka'k, also spelt P'kak Peakak, or Mak.

This is the classical age old weapon from the Cambodian regions of South East Asia, seen through in to Vietnam and Thailand. Such weapons have been recorded as being the warriors primary weapon of choice which was also used in Domestic duties and hunting.
This example is 77cms long from end to end.
The handle and body of this weapon is made from a very strong rattan with good shock absorbing flex. Atop of the curved end is an iron blade inserted through the rattan and pinned in place.
This Phka'k remains in good solid condition.

A good and rare item.
